Toni Tone & Taye’s Long Distance Love Story To Forever Love
Toni Tone is off the market! The British Nigerian author and podcaster married her longtime love, Taiwo (aka Taye9ja) Ogebule, in grand style.
The couple, who got engaged last June, began their forever journey with dazzling and vibrant three-part wedding ceremonies in London and Lagos, Nigeria. Their wedding was a vibrant celebration of love, culture, and style. From London to Lagos, the couple shared their wedding moments with their followers on Instagram. T & T Traditional Wedding
The couple’s wedding events began with a Yoruba introduction ceremony in London. Toni wore an emerald green and beaded lace traditional outfit. Her outfit was gorgeous, and her joy was contagious. Shortly afterwards, the couple celebrated their traditional wedding in Lagos.
For their traditional wedding, the couple stunned in custom couture looks that honored their heritage while embracing bold, modern aesthetics. Toni was a bridal vision in her first outfit. A regal purple beaded corset blouse and skirt by Nigerian designer Amy Aghomi, paired with a magenta gele. While Taye9ja matched her elegance in a richly embroidered agbada, purple fila, and a coordinating walking stick.
And, for their second and third looks for the rest of their ceremony, the couple slayed their looks beautifully and matched each other as seen below.
T & T Wedding Ceremony
Next, the couple’s third and final white wedding took place in London. It was a beautiful and elegant celebration to behold. Toni walked down the aisle in a dreamy strapless white gown, while Taye9ja looked dapper in his tux. Their vows were beautiful and heartfelt, and their love radiated throughout the ceremony and reception.
Hence, Toni and Taye9ja didn’t just celebrate their love; they also celebrated their heritage. They showed that tradition and modern romance can coexist in a long-distance relationship. Their wedding was a masterclass in intentional love and joy.
