Love is a beautiful thing and often it happens when you least expect it just like it did for Treasure.

Treasure and Manasseh’s story is a sweet, modern love story in the age of social media that started with an article Treasure wrote and posted for people to read. But little did she know the man she will one day marry saw the article and that led to the start of their friendship. And as the saying goes, the rest was history.

The blissful Nigerian couple got married two weeks ago in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Their story and wedding photos were shared with us via their photography Zeals Photography. Check out her tale and their photos below.

The Bride’s Tale – In her own words

It started after I published a story and put out a link for people to read it. He slid into my DMs to have a conversation about what I have written. It stood out for me because it wasn’t the usual “hey beautiful” comments in the DMs. Prior to this, we were following each other on Instagram but we had never spoken or chatted. After the story I published, he kept messaging to ask to read what I was working on next. From talking about books, we began to talk about family and person stuff and eventually, how we could see each other in person.

In summary, I often say, every love story is unique and beautiful, but yours will always be the best. Because it’s simply true! Treasure and Manasseh’s story is an example of that.

They are beautiful together and their love shines through in their wedding pictures. Their love story gives hope to those looking for their special modern love, you just never know when true love will come knocking.
